Make sure you don’t use Tarski’s asides and a plugin like Sideblog; the two will, not surprisingly, conflict. If you’re using Sideblog (or a similar plugin) and Tarski, make sure you disable asides in the Tarski Options page!
One additional note: Sideblog and Tarski’s asides will probably play nicely together as long as they’re set to use different categories, but we’ve not tested this yet, so on your own head be it if you risk doing it.
Tarski’s Asides feature is wonderful, but it screws up the post count on the home/category pages.
For example, I always want 10 main posts and five Asides to show up on my home page. If 8 of the last 10 posts that I’ve entered belong to the Asides category, I’ll only get 2 main posts on the home page, instead of the desired 10.
This seems to be a quirk of the Loop, but I have no idea how to get around it.
I’ve tried several plugins (Category Visibility, etc.), but none of them fill the bill.
Hi, I’m having some problems instaling the Brian’s Latest Comments plugin. I’ve tryed all version (The one you’ve recommended is not there), teh pluginis active, I’ve ceckd his box (Latest comments in Sidebar Contents) and nothing happend :|

I have further checked, it is the sidebar which cause the weird database problem on the UTW.
I cannot figure it out why.
Just now I have a try posting an Aside post, but the title doesn’t show up! Only content! I dono why?

Quick question:

Any ideas?

It’s not a quirk, it’s just how the WordPress loop works. Asides are posts, just like normal posts, for the purpose of the loop.
I’m not aware of a way to change that functionality without editing the WordPress code itself.

Looking at your site, the recent comments seem to be coming up just fine…

Are you using Widgets? Tarski replaces the usual sidebar with Widgets, as it says here.

That’s why it’s not working, then, Ionut. The built-in Brian’s Latest Comments support gets replaced by the Widgets sidebar.
1.2’s options page won’t even display that checkbox if you have Widgets active.
