Tick Different is based on Tarski. Gorgeous colours combine into a dark, rich style—reminds me of expensive chocolate.
WordPress 2.0.5 will be out fairly soon, and as soon as the release version arrives we’ll be testing it to ensure Tarski’s compatibility.

Aargh
I am running 2.05 and so far Tarski is running perfectly. I have changed the options around to see if their was any issues. So far no problems.
Oh I looked at Tick Different, pretty sweet looking!

Since you’re working on a new version anyway: It would be really nice to have a language file to spare me the translation by hardcoding. I’d even volunteer for the German version.

Funny you should mention it, I’ve been working on this today. I agree that it would be great to make localisation easier, it’s been on my to-do list for a couple of months now, I just kept putting it off because it’s such a tedious job.

Oh great! Here’s another tedious thing to crunch on: The Intypo-Plugin doesn’t seem to reach the footer text. Did I mention, that in all other respects Tarski is a wonderfull something? Well, it’s on my list, really.

You mean the text you can add through the Tarski Options page, like the ‘About’ text at the bottom of this site? It’s probably to do with
wptexturize()or something. I’ll look into it.November 4, 2006 at 5:33 pm

It’s not the “About” text. It’s the headlines and teasers of the posts appearing in the footer. They seem to be beyond the reach of this typography thing; quotation marks revers to default where they schould turn out » and «. Anyway, you are my hero!

…phuu - I wasn’t aware that tickdifferent can be found already and is being linked to, as I am still pretty much in developing that thing. Localization into German is not really easy….
Nevermind - good to read you seem to like the look. Thanks for the good Tarski basework.

I agree with Andreas on the German version or rather in a complete German language file - I would offer my help as well in translating, if you are interested.
