This is, literally, *exactly* the theme I have been looking for: minimalist, white background, editable header image, Times New Roman accents with Verdana body font, and nothing else. I don't know how I bypassed this theme in WP's free directory, but I'm glad I found it. Thanks!

There are two ways you can do this. Firstly, put the title in the image and disable the title via the Tarski options page (this is what I do). Secondly, use a custom style to position the title over the header image (this is straightforward, assuming you have a modicum of CSS knowledge).

Hi Ben,

I use your very nice wp theme in my web site and like to have the latest release 2.6 in place (act. I use 2.5). Unfortunately there is this above mentioned bug in 2.6 in IE6. You said in the a.m. mail that you think to review rel. 2.6. Are you working on a fix ?

Have a nice day !

It would be nice to have the custom header as a background with the name of the title of the blog over top... does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks Friedrich, I'll have a look at that when I have some time. Given Brandon's complaint above, perhaps the whole thing needs some review.

There is a bug in Tarski 2.6 with browser IE6: Install Wordpress 2.9.1, english localization and Tarski 2.6 from this page. Just activate the Tarski theme and use all the other default options of worldpress and Tarski. Then create this post:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua.

At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, etc ...

with the picture in uploads/images. If you now look into the frontend with IE6 and you move the cursor over the more tag the rest of the side moves up and it overlays a part of the left floated picture. With 2.5 which I have installed here: http://www.friedrich-glasenapp.de/ Taski was ok. In Opera this bug doesn't appear.

For me this bug is not easy to track and maybe some developer can have a look.

Thank you very much !

The German localisation for Tarski 2.5 works for the 2.6 release as well.
