How would i go about doing this in Tarski? I've read about Wordpress assigning "current_page_item" which can then be styled, but I can't find it in Tarski.

Thanks for any help with this (probably easily solved) problem.

Hmm, good question. I’ll have to look into this one and get back you; bear with me…

Any ideas with regards to this yet? :)

An initial survey of the problem seems to indicate that it’s actually quite tricky, if you don’t have a predefined list of pages/sections. Basically what we’d need to do is generate a list of pages, from the database, with conditionals so an id could be applied to the menu item which referred to the current page. I assume you want this to work with Tarski’s top nav section, and it definitely ought to be possible to integrate this, but it’s somewhat complex and I’ll need Chris to give me a hand (and he’s pretty busy at the moment, which is why the new version isn’t out yet).

I’d definitely like to include this feature, if only so that people writing their own CSS could use it, but I’m afraid it’s not the sort of thing I can just paste some code for and let you get on with it. If you find out anything to indicate it’s easier than I think, please, let me know! :)

Just to note that Tarski 1.2.1 now includes this feature. :)
