As I mentioned in my previous post, my website‘s theme broke the WP admin panel, so until Chris and I figure out what’s going on, I’ll be running Tarski. Since 1.2 is not a million miles away from finished, I thought I’d upload that and use my site as a sort of field test to iron out bugs—I’ve already caught a couple. Hopefully we’ll iron out the biggest issues over the weekend and get a Beta copy out to our testers. We’ll keep you posted.

Tubetorial have a great little video up on how to find and install a WordPress theme for your website, and were kind enough to mention Tarski in their list of the best WP themes on the web.

Jim Whimpey’s Day Dream has apparently been influenced by Tarski (not detrimentally, we hope). It’s a clean single-column theme with a large header and a few nice touches—I particularly like the way the header switches with the colour changes. Happily, it looks like Jim agrees with us about the need for customisability. Worth checking out.

I’ve a bit of an open letter to theme designers up on my personal blog, so if there are any of you around, please do take a peek.

WordPress version 2.0.2 is now available and appears to play nice with Tarski version 1.0.1 (and version 1.1).

Please let us know if you run into any problems with Tarski post-upgrade.
