Gameplay
In Pets Unleashed you play as a completely customizable dog/cat/bird/fish/lizard/etc., and you have to use your tooth beaks pecking skills to navigate through various worlds that are based on locations from the movie. You explore these worlds by going through a series of levels that each have a different objective: collecting a certain amount of coins, finding collectibles, reaching checkpoints, etc. As you do so, you'll get new abilities to help you negotiate.
Jump Over To Navigate
A completely different method of navigation is the ability to jump over gaps, which sounds simple, but can actually get quite challenging. You don't have to collect coins in order to get the moon-liked boosters either but instead are given a choice between them at random times. For example, one level will have a coin-collecting objective and one of the jumping gaps will be given. If you choose the latter path then you'll end up receiving that booster on that stage alone.
Unlock New Challenges
As you complete each of these levels, they'll unlock new areas on the map where more obstacles await you. Some of these new areas even contain special challenge stages where you'll need to use your new abilities to make it through each challenge.
Play Smart
Each level has a score limit so be careful not to get too wrapped up in trying to rush through. There are some additional challenges that will be introduced over time instead of being permanent. For example, on one stage you're tasked with collecting food items while another one will require you to find all the hidden stars in a certain amount of time. Be smart and get the maximum possible points.
