Welcome to the 15th edition of the OUT.FEST!
Since 2004, we have been bringing to Barreiro music that is new, challenging, unrepeatable, unclassifiable, original.
Throughout this journey, more than three dozen sites and venues all across the city have hosted 150 artists from every continent, representing different generations, aesthetics and ways of understanding music and sound as means of expression and of provoking profound social and personal change.
For the 2018 edition, in many ways, this journey will take a new path, with a series of new spaces to be discovered throughout the city center, filled with singular music, and a format that promotes deeper exploration.
Over the course of two days, we will host 25 shows, split between various venues, by creators from Portugal, Brazil, Britain, Italy, Germany, Finland, Lithuania, Slovenia, America, Iran and Japan, with ages ranging from 20 to 80, spanning from jazz to rock, to electronic music, and everything imaginable along the way.
Two days that celebrate Music as a form of adventure and discovery, and Barreiro as a picture of bravery, diversity, creativity and independence.
