Confined spaces can be serious workplace hazards. OSHA has developed regulations for both the General Industry and Construction Industry to better protect workers in hazardous confined spaces. This mobile application was developed by the IUOE National Training Fund (NTF). The NTF provides curriculum, technical services and direct training to local union instructors. This enables them to deliver Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), OSHA Construction and General Industry Outreach, MSHA Miner, and other safety and health courses. NTF train-the-trainer and trainer refresher classes provide instructors with the necessary technical skills and knowledge related to workplace hazards so they could teach classes at their home local union training programs.
