SHAKE4HELP is an android application designed to help you in any emergency situation. Just shake the phone and help will come to you quickly!!!

The problem of violence criminality and insecurity are considered the main concerns in most countries In fact, now at days urban violence and insecurity have replaced poverty and unemployment as issues that requires more attention. Unfortunately criminals are more prepared and citizens are defenseless That's why shake4help appears in order to help these people. It also can be used in many other emergency situations, such as Medical emergencies accidents kids protection and people with Alzheimer.

SHAKE4HELP can help your life because there is no easier way to ask for help as Shaking the phone. After you shake the phone or clic in the main button the SHAKE4HELP app will display a popup with 5 buttons (2 buttons used as easy access for your favorite apps, 1 button used to notify your family where you are, 1 button used when you took a taxi an finally the SOS button, used to send an alert message, getting your current location using the best network provider that your phone has in that moment (3G, Wifi, GPS) and sending this message to your family, friends, or directly to the police. The message contains a google maps link to see where the person is. Also it displays the country,city and Street information at the end of the message.

We can trigger SOS alerts also pressing 5 times really fast the power button of the cellphone.

This app does not require to have the GPS turned on to trigger alerts. Awesome... dont you think???

With "SHAKE4HELP " you will get the following features:

-SMS alert ( Very useful for someone who has no internet connection)
- Automatic Emergency Call to somebody who can hear what's going on. (Or if you are in US you can set 911 to call the police).
- Email notification
- Shake speed configuration: The user can set your own speed shaking phone to avoid false alarms.
- Panic Button: The user just need to press 5 times really fast the power button and the SOS alert will be triggered.
- 2 Widgets: The user will be able to add a huge button in his/her homeScreen in order to trigger alerts or open the shake4help popup FASTER!
- Customized alert message (i.e. "Help me please", "Im in an emergency situation", "I'm going to give birth" , etc.)
- Facebook alert - Automatic posting of the alert message to the user wall in facebook. Very useful for persons who wants to ask for help to any friends who could be near from the location described in the message.
- Request location via SMS: You can active the request location setting a secret word and then your family and friends will be able to locate you just sending a sms with the secret word as content of the message.
- Location request privacy: You can define who can locate you in case of emergencies. So the Location request will be able to be used just for a specific phone number.
- Sim-Change alert - SHAKE4HELP send you an alert with geoLocation when someone turn-on your cellphone and change your SIM. Very useful when someone stole your phone.
- SOS alarm - If you lost your phone,you can send you an SMS with the word 'SOS' to activate the ALARM.
