STEPS is a community of people interested in contributing and sharing information on one map. We want to create a free online map that is developed and edited by its users.
The STEPS app allows every user, STEPPER, to add information about the place they are currently at, for all the people that will arrive at that location, therefore sharing the information they have with other users.
The information in STEPS services each and every person with a variety of places, from nature to city: mountains, look-out points, water springs, beaches, cabins, hotels, historical sights, street art, businesses, commercial products, and all additional useful information that the community would want to share with the world.
- STEPPERs can create a new place on the map by "stepping" on the place and adding a point on the map.
- On every point, an unlimited amount of comments, pictures, and critiques can be added, in order to share all the information with the rest of the community.
- With a #hashtag, STEPPERS can give a brief description of the place, making it easy for others to find.
- STEPPERS can search for any information they may desire.
- STEPPERS can share points with their friends.
