Upesy allows people, in need of an emergency response, to raise an alert to their group of friends and/or a Professional Emergency Service Provider. Upesy covers 4 significant areas of emergency i.e. Security (Home & Personal Security); Medical; Road Rescue; and Fire.

*Raise an alert
By either tapping the power button of your phone 4 times or clicking the panic button on the App, Upesy automatically sends out an alert to your friends. Your friends receive an SMS & App notification; the App automatically calls one of your friends; an automatically recorded audio from the point of the incident is sent to them, and they can track your movement live on their App. In the premium service offered on Upesy, a professional emergency service provider also receives the alert on the dashboard in their control rooms and responds accordingly (The average response time has been fantastic! less than 10 mins!)
*Follow-me feature
Invite friends to track your movement on Upesy until you safely reach your destination. Upesy will notify your friends once you get there. Think of when you are from a night party and you've parted with your friends, wouldn't it be nice to see how everyone gets home safely?
*Find-me feature
Use Upesy to send map pins of your current location, a predefined location e.g. home, or any other location, to make it easy for someone to navigate there easily.
*News, updates, notifications & advisories
These are sent to you on Upesy based on your location to make them more relevant to you. Remain informed about your neighbourhood and those that you visit.
*Inform-Police
We have partnered with the Kenya National Police Service. Now you can send any information you deem vital directly to the Police from Upesy. You can report on various incidents including traffic offences, corruption, theft etc. Help keep your neighbourhood and community safe!
*Test-Mode
Use this feature to test the App without causing panic to your friends.
*Premium Service
Currently, the premium service offered on Upesy is Home Security (Security response to your home). Tired of the high costs of installing alarm systems in your house? Opt for the more economical service offered on Upesy. With Upesy, the panic button is on your phone. Subscribe to an emergency response service company on Upesy; map the location of your home; make an affordable payment, all on the App and you are enrolled for emergency response. You can add beneficiaries (The people that you live with) for free. Beneficiaries will automatically be enrolled on the premium service and they too will be able to raise an alert on Upesy.
