i_ISLAND AR is an augmented reality (AR) app developed by Weekend Labs, that invites all i_ISLAND web documentary users to create their very own personal islands.
Just sketch the elevation lines onto a piece of real paper, and it will be directly translated into a 3D island!
Create your own favourite island with as many hills, mountains and valleys as you wish, and visualize it on your table top or on the floor at home in full 3D.
Walk around your creation and view your islands from all perspectives.
Please note that your paper can be any size but distinctly visible from the background!
It should be white and its background should be as dark as possible, preferably black!
Furthermore, you should always use a thick dark pen or a paintbrush!
The aim of the app is to go beyond the creation of user defined islands while encouraging your personal artistic creativity.
