Ridmik Keyboard is Bangla phonetic keyboard that lets users type in not just in Bangla, but also in English, Arabic, and Chakma. It has all the basic functionalities a virtual keyboard should have, and even some advanced features to better the typing experience. These include adjusting the keyboard size, changing themes, text editing, etc.
Starting with the languages, Ridmik Keyboard is meant for typing in Bangla, where users can choose to do so in either national or Probhat layouts. Also, users can switch easily to other supported languages like English, Arabic, and Chakma seamlessly with just a tap. For this, tap on the globe button available right beside the spacebar, or hold onto the spacebar for selecting the desired language from pop-up options.
Besides the languages, users can input emojis too. There's a full set of these added in the Ridmik Keyboard, accessible from tapping the emoji button in the bottom row, or in the above options. Also, users can choose to input words through voice! There's a dedicated button at the top right corner, tapping on it will start recording the voice you say, and enter them automatically into the editor.
Apart from this hands-free experience, users get word suggestions (powered by AI, will suggest potential words based on the half typed words). Users can add a dedicated number pad as the fifth row for easier access. Users can check their five latest copied contents from anywhere in the clipboard on Ridmik Keyboard, and delete the unwanted form there.
Also, it has a simple text editor with all basic formatting like making the selected text to bold or italic. Also, they can use the spacebar to move the cursor in a text or sentence, which makes editing simpler and is similar to what Google and SwiftKey keyboards are having. Users can customize their keyboard's height as desired, to make it easier for typing.
At last, to make the typing on Ridmik Keyboard interesting, users can change the keyboard's theme. They can pick from available themes like Shiny Black, Ivory, Aquamarine, Sour Grape, Midnight, etc, or choose to set an image as the keyboard theme from their gallery. Finally, it's good that developers are actively contributing to this keyboard by adding new themes and functionalities regularly.
